Swinging as the Sun Goes Down

We've miraculously become the place to hang out for the neighborhood kids. I'm still undecided as to how I feel about this shift, but my girl is having the time of her life. Everyday after school, we hear little feet slapping on the deck followed by polite knocks on the door. You never know who's at the door, being that their all short and can't be seen through the window. Most often it is one or both of the twin girls that live down the street. They are Kyla's age and one is in her class at school. I've yet to figure out which one is which seeing as they are identical twins, but Kyla can tell and I guess that's enough for now:)

So our family dynamic has changed once again, letting in the neighborhood kids to the whirlwind that we call our life:)

Hey..I would much prefer the kids come play at my house. That way I can keep an eye on my own and be able to intervene more easily.

And if you bake up some goodies you'll be known as "Kyla's Cool Mom" :)
