We celebrated Gavin's 3rd Birthday on Saturday with a gathering of our family. There was cake and balloons, presents and snacks. And most importantly, good memories made.
Chad again showed his manly, mad cake decorating skills with this years bulldozer cake. Gav saw a picture and decided that this one was it for him. Chad slaved over it with the end result causing Gav to dance with pleasure.
He loved opening his presents!
After most of the presents were opened, it was time for his big surprise from us and from my parents ... His new big boy bike! My dad cleaned up Kyla's old bike, took it apart and had it powder coated Gav's favorite colors - John Deere green and yellow. We put it back together with some new inner tubes, training wheels and handle grips and Gav now has his "tractor bike!"
What a wonderful day celebrating Gavin. Thanks to the Grandparents and Aunts/Uncles/cousins that came to help us celebrate him.
